Tuition Rates
The 2023/2024 academic year final tuition fees are determined by the Council of Higher Education, according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of July 2023.
Tuition fees will be updated throughout the year in accordance with the CPI.
For those who pay tuition until September 15, 2023 the tuition fees are according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of July 2023 as following:
Annual tuition for Undergraduate Programs – 11,296 NIS.
Annual undergraduate tuition for non-Israeli citizens - 14,120 NIS
**These fees are for a full program of study – 100%
Annual tuition for all other programs – 15,265 NIS
*Including non-Israeli citizens for thesis master's degree or doctorate
**These fees are for a full program of study – 100%
Annual tuition for Non-Israeli citizens for all other programs - 19,081 NIS
Security fee - a mandatory payment that does not depend on the scope or course of study.
The amount is not final and may change according to the decision of the Higher Education Council..

* These rates were updated on July 19, 2023. Students who paid on their personal information site according to the previous rate will be charged on the amount of the difference.
** For a student studying only one semester, the charge will be updated to half the security fee later this year.
Charging half of the security fee applies to students who are registered for courses in one semester only (A or B)
Half amount of security fee for students on Jerusalem campuses: NIS 349
Half amount of security fee for students on Rehovot campus: NIS 317
Security fees - exceptions:
Doctorate students with a 20% charge (who start studying in the second semester in their first year only) - will be charged half of the security fee
Student exchange for one semester - will be charged half of the security fee
* This rateS will be updated during the year, therefore the full rate that appears on the personal website must be paid at the moment.
Students who have paid the full tuition fee including additional fees will be credited towards the end of the academic year.
** This amount is a mandatory payment. The amount is fixed and does not depend on the scope, duration or course of studies.
National Student Union Fee: As of the coming academic year, BA and MA students will be required to pay 10 NIS to the National Student Union. Payment is mandatory and cannot be cancelled.

Language Studies:
English Studies
Cost of English as Foreign Language Courses Students studying English at Level 2 or 3 are required to pay an additional amount over and above tuition.
Level 3: In the 2022-2023 academic year the cost for a 6-hour semester course - 1985 NIS according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of July 2023.
Level 2: In the 2022-2023 academic year the cost for a 4-hour semester course - 1527 NIS according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of July 2023.
Students required to take only Level 1 are exempt from paying for this course only during the standard number of years for completing a bachelor's degree.
Hebrew studies
Students (of any degree) in their first year of studies toward a degree at the University, who are required to study Hebrew language, are exempt from paying for this course.
Students not studying toward a degree are not eligible for the exemption from tuition for Hebrew language courses and will therefore be required to pay for them from their first year. Students from their second year and onward, who are still required to take a Hebrew language course, will be charged tuition for this course.
The cost of a Hebrew course (up to 4 hours) 1527 NIS according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of July 2023. and for a course of more than 4 hours 1985 NIS according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of July 2023.
Each course will be charged separately.
Student that will study in the summer level 4 will through Rothberg School will get a refund in his tuition in his first year of studies.
* Charges for English/Hebrew language courses will be collected only after students file their class schedule.
