T-1098 form for US Citizens

Form T-1098 for US Citizens

Students at the Hebrew University who hold U.S. citizenship may be eligible for tax credits in the United States for tuition fees paid during the previous tax year. The Hebrew University will soon begin reporting to the U.S. tax authorities tuition fee payments made during the 2025 tax year only.

Students who wish to have their tuition fee payments reported should enter their personal details, exactly as they appear on their Social Security card, into the form below.

The form must be completed by December 30, 2025. After this date, no applications will be accepted. Once the reporting process has been completed, a copy will be sent to the students.

The fee for this service is NIS 120.
Important note: You must verify that payments for the requested tax year have been made before completing the form and making the payment for it. No refunds will be issued for a payment that has been made.

If incorrect details are submitted, corrections and an additional payment will be required.

The Hebrew University uses the services of the Minster Kohavi (U.S. Tax Services) accounting firm (https://www.taxmk.com/us-tax). Students who wish to submit a report for previous years are invited to contact Minster Kohavi directly.

Those interested in completing Form 1098-T independently may fill out this application form to request a written statement of tuition fees paid. This service carries a small administrative fee.
A statement of tuition fees paid for the current year can be downloaded from your personal account on the University website at no cost.

Form 1098-T submissions for 2024 were made by the University in January 2025. Forms for that year can no longer be submitted via the University.

The form below should be completed on a computer only, and not on a smartphone or tablet.
