During December 2024, the university is expected to replace the students system.
As a result, there may be changes in tuition fees for all students.
Changing the method of calculating tuition fees for students starting to study for M.A. degree in 2024/2025 (first year)
The method of calculating tuition fees in the new system will be different from the method used today. As of today, the hourly value is fixed according to degree type and main faculty and does not depend on the student's study program.
In the new system, the hourly value of the student's depends on the study program and the number of credit points required for the degree.
An example of a student studying for Master's degree
A student who needs to study 36 credit points (18 weekly hours) for a degree will pay tuition according to the following hourly value:
200% / 18 hours = 11.11% - minimum percentage required for Master's degree
Therefore, this student will pay for each hour of study 11.11% of the full tuition fee for a certified degree.
15,266 NIS (full annual tuition rate for Master's degree) x 11.11% = 1,969 NIS
And in total OF 200% tuition after completing 18 hours.
Additional charges will be created for a student who paid according to the current system according to a fixed hourly value of 8%. The additional amount of the difference between 11.11% and 8% for the study hours taught this year when switching to the new system.
* All of the above is not valid for students whose tuition in their study program is fixed. For example: medical studies, dentistry, the Amirim program, etc.** The change will only apply to students whose 2024/2025 academic year is their first year for a Master's degree, nevertheless, there can also be changes for advanced years students
